Illusions

It is harder today to decipher news, what is factual, what is fantasy, what is wishful thinking.
World leaders waste young people’s lives, having them killed in battles that are not in any way a reflection of the young people’s imaginations. Suffering beyond imagination is the consequence and repression it’s well established medication.
One of the reasons why there seems to be return of misogyny could be that young men intuit what is coming for them more globally- you fight in a war of some sort that is imposed on you by dying omnipotent old men who do not seem to care about your future. Women to some extent are still spared that evil. The old dying men need the unconscious fantasy that all women are available to them. They need to live to reproduce, the boys however, are more of a threat- you only need a few of them - preferable ones that can be controlled so that they share the old men’s view.
Young men maybe intuit that their mothers can’t protect them against their evil ‘fathers’ and their love for their mothers turns sour- into denigration.
Maybe the task for women old and young is to resist and stand by their sons and partners. Maybe the should voice loudly that they refuse to let their sons be sacrificed, to unite against the assault and attack of youth, potential and future. Maybe it would help with misogyny, if all girls and women voiced that they need their sons, boyfriends and partners to live and love. That as a woman they collectively refuse to collude with the romanticisation of war. And collectively strive for a world in which any death caused by human violence is one to many. I see a task here for all people of all genders, but when it comes to misogyny I think that women can address it by acknowledging the evil young men are at risk of being exposed to, more so then young women. This acknowledgment might help young men to feel less binary towards them, and less inclined to denigrate or attack the
